London-based Australian Logic1000 debuts with two bits of prime deep house tackle. ‘Please Forgive Me’ is going to be catnip for those of you who can’t get enough of the old-school Chicago sound. A known favourite of Four Tet, Daphni and Anthony Naples, this track combines a low-slung Midwest shuffle with a classic soulful vocal lick. On the flip, the slightly more acidic ‘Derriere’ is as bouncy as the title would suggest.
