You’ll know him better as ASC, but this latest release from the one born James Clements is the first full-length record to be released under his Comit alias. Comit’s output has generally been more strongly influenced by 90’s IDM than ASC, and the Remote Viewing LP does indeed contain repeated excursions into the sound. However, the influence of breakbeat, Orb-style ambient house, dub techno and Braindance makes Remote Viewing a varied listen. It’s very pretty, too, at times coming off not dissimilar to some of Brainwaltzera’s most aesthetically-pleasing work.
