Tralala Blip’s Eat My Codes If Your Light Falls is an LP of unusual, experimental and innovative electronic pop. The Australian group bend late-90’s/early-00’s techno, electro and synth-pop into pleasingly unique shapes on tracks like ‘Nightmare Lands Welcome You To’ and ‘Facing Monsters’. Comparisons with early Hot Chip would not be amiss here. Elsewhere cuts like ‘Pub Talk’ are the kind of glitchy, devastating pieces of futuro-r ‘n’ b that FKA Twigs or James Blake would be proud of.
