There’s heartbreak in ‘Valleys (My Love)’ (splayed over wistful strings straight out of a Dusty Springfield tune), an indie update for The Carpenters in ‘Used To Be Lonely’, and an all-encompassing end-of-relationship soul searching, at its best in luscious opener ‘Giving Up’.
