After a seven year hiatus following his previous LP released under his own name, Canadian producer Sandro Perri makes stunning return to the personal with Soft Landing. Light and lilting as floating on a dingy along a slow-flowing river, Perri’s post-rock sensibilities have fully morphed into a gentle amalgam of ambient acoustics and Bossa nova luxuriance. It delights in quiet, an essential virtue in these busiest of times.
