In the Summer of 2018 Martin Schacke was invited to take up a residency at Saint Petersburg’s Kisloty Club. Schacke’s new EP Kisloty Forever commemorates this experience in sound. The tracks here bring the hard and fast sounds of the 90’s into the present day. When we say the 90’s we’re not just talking about techno, though the hi-NRG style of tracks like ‘Klub Theme’ is not dissimilar to the revivalism of Randomer and Clouds. An additional retro flavour is added by Schacke incorporating samples of 90’s Russian pop acts - t.A.T.u. Anyone? These are emotional, energetic and excellent club traxx.
