Thunder, Lightning, Strike is 15 years old eh? Time sure does fly when you’re having fun. And what fun The Go! Team’s debut LP remains all these years later. The group’s raucous, ramshackle fusion of hip-hop, big beat and indie-rock was never better captured than on this, their debut LP. Thunder, Lightning, Strike’s infectious energy earned the Brighton band a Mercury Prize nomination and producing a UK Top 40 single in ‘Ladyflash’. It’s good to have it back in our lives again.
