Legendary anti-hardcore/noise-rock band No Trend have some of their early demos and live takes rounded up for You Deserve Your Life. This record features many of the tracks taped in the same 1983 session that produced their debut single ‘Teen Love’. Some of the songs (‘Family Style’, ‘Reality Breakdown’) would be re-recorded for their debut LP Too Many Humans…, while others remained in the vault. Bolstered by two live recordings of ‘Death’ and ‘Punker’ - tracks that were never given subsequent studio time - You Deserve Your Life superbly captures the furious scree of No Trend’s early work.
