Bjarki’s up to his old tricks again. The latest scheme from the bbbbbb Records boss is Hellcat, a series of compilation EPs from the label that will deal in speaker-blowing club tackle. Hellcat Volume 1 pulls no punches, offering up a quartet of takes-no-prisoners DJ tools that blast off into the stratosphere. Entries from VTSS, Cadency and Bjarki & Kuldaboli are slamming industrial techno tracks that will put a rocket up any mix they’re dropped in. Kuldaboli teams up with Tekknotaefan for the hyperspeed trance closer ‘Hefurðu einhvern tímann hugsað um það’. Wicked stuff.
