WRWTFWW Records yet again make good on their modus operandi by reissuing a lost classic of Japanese ambient minimalism. Still Way (Way Notation 2) was to be Satoshi Ashikawa's only release, the composer having tragically died at the age of 30 shortly after the LP’s 1982 release. As well as carrying the note of sadness associated with lives cut short, the LP also bears a resigned lightness, as little more than a harp, a piano, woodwind floats across the air as leaves along the breeze.
