After linking up in 2017 for the Sleepover EP, Jimi Tenor and Freestyle Man return to Studio Barnhus with new collection Are We It?. As it was on Sleepover, Are We It? contains a set of sleek, smooth deep house joints. The manner in which tracks like ‘Journey (That Mistook His Way For A Road)’ and ‘Smoke & Alcohol’ shuffle and shake is reminiscent of old-school (Matthew) Herbert. Dubbed-out closer ‘Are We It? (Alone In The Universe)’ is the outlier.
