DJ Bogdan is … real? Fake? To be honest, no-one’s quite sure. Objekt maintains that Bogdan is a fellow who used to tear the house down at a Berlin club called Basement Q with his 1993 tune ‘Love Inna Basement’. However, there’s no record of either Basement Q or DJ Bogdan. It’s all very mysterious. Whatever its origin story, the ‘Midnite XTC’ version of ‘Love Inna Basement’ is pounding hardcore techno for all seasons and the ‘Morning Dub’ is a sunrise slammer if ever we heard one.
