Before his death in 2012 Pete Namlook forged a productive partnership with David Moufang (Move D). Away Music intend to shine new light on some choice cuts from the pair’s collaborative catalogue. Reissued 1 sets to wax three tunes that were previously only available on CD. ‘Footer’ and ‘Der Bergkönig’ are hugely evocative pieces of minimal dub-techno which originally appeared on the 2001 LP Live In Heidelberg. The epic ‘Stranger’ combines more techno minimalism with stargazing inquisitiveness in the best Detroit tradition.
