Seasoned bass-bin botherers Silas & Snare return to the Kaizen imprint with another set of lithe, menacing club tackle. The Pressure EP is a typically powerful collection of bassweight techno from the duo, one that manages to keep the grooves tight even when it’s serving up some volatile sub. Pressure’s title-track is a particularly impressive juggling act of Eski square-waves and leftfield loops. Bruce, Batu and other soundsystem techno dons are the related artists that we’re dealing with here.
