Brighton quartet Penelope Isles drop their second LP of dreamy indie. Until The Tide Creeps In does much the same thing as debut album Comfortably Swell, offering up a set of sweet and shoegazey summertime rock. The band’s combination of wistful harmonies, reverb-heavy guitars and mid-tempo grooves place them alongside the likes of Real Estate and Galaxie 500 - good company to keep. Some very good production gives Until The Tide Creeps In extra bite, particularly when the guitarists hit their fuzz pedals.
