A fresh new prince of UK juke and Canada’s number one worldwide exporter of DNB and Jungle — Sam Binga and Marcus Visionary respectively — join forces for an EP of hard-bouncing and electrifying skulduggery. Doubles EP, named for a beloved Toronto-by-Trinidad lunch option, is a broken beat treat of a culture cross-over, a harmonious matrimony of UK garage and sound system culture, wedded by the overseeing spirit of tireless experimentation. ‘Doubles’ gets bodies moving, as does ‘One More Time’ and ‘Nexx’, but there’s nothing straightforward about these heady beats, skitting across audio space like an echo pinging its way down a cavern.
