Jordon Alexander is keeping busy at the moment - Growing Pains is the fourth EP to drop in 2019 which Alexander’s had a hand in and the third he’s released as Mall Grab this year. On the evidence of Growing Pains Alexander’s creative streak is taking his music to intriguing new places. These tracks are not the lo-fi house rollers one typically associates with the Mall Grab project. Instead what we get here is much harder, a set that blends pounding techno drums with trance synths, electro basslines and even a little Eski. It’s a good look for Alexander.
