Ricardo Tobar’s bright, busy style of tech-house shines through on his new EP. Both of the Tobar originals on Nadivi are full of widescreen synth atmospheres and chest-swelling keyboards. The likes of Stephan Bodzin and Luke Abbott are recalled by the powerful melodies, insistent drums and chatty arpeggios of ‘Nadivi’ and ‘The Structures Of Summer Are With Us’. Nestled between the two we find Legowelt giving Nadivi’s title-track an acidic re-rub.
