Max de Wardener has a broad musical history - he’s been part of a Zimbabwean Mbira (thumb-piano) ensemble, composed for both the big and little screens, and worked on records by artists like Roisin Murphy and Plaid. He channels his varied influences into Palindrome, an EP that whets the appetite for his forthcoming full-length Kolmar. With drummer Moses Boyd in tow, de Wardener creates two pieces of techno-adjacent electronics that nod to Pantha Du Prince and Harmonious Thelonious.
