Samuel van Dijk sheds his usual guises (Mohlao, VC-118A, among others) and dons his Multicast Dynamics for his fifth outing on Denovali Records. Lost World is one of those LPs that speaks for itself; sonic adventures into unknown planes, beckoned by strange signals from alien broadcasters. Long has ambient music delved into deep space, largely in the name of human progress, or in search of utopias — but rarely has it been done with such implacable terror.
