Coming together for a recording session prior to their acclaimed appearance at the 2016 Masāfāt Festival, the blazing quartet of Oren Ambarchi, Mark Fell, Will Guthrie and Sam Shalabi play to each other’s strengths with Oglon Day. Consisting of two epic works of fusion jazz ballooned to krautrock grandeur, these limitlessly taut jams lifted from two days of tireless collaboration reveal no real frontman as such; just the collective consciousness of an impossibly synchronous foursome.
