Both London’s brokntoys and Prague’s Endless Illusion are labels with a penchant for minimal synth grooves and doomy post-punk electronics. Because of these shared values, a joint release between the two labels feels nice and natural. The first volume of their collaborative Human Abstracts series is a globe-trotting release that includes artists from Colombia, Greece and Denmark. Regardless of where they hail from, each act here turns in a wedge of delightfully dark electro-dystopia.
