Next up on Art-Aud is an EP from the rave master Chris Moss Acid. The producer sticks to his guns on Lill Chill to turn in a set of halcyon-glow rollers. These are acid house DJ tools that come with the same wistful feel that one also finds in the work of artists like Lone, Gnork and the rest of the Magicwire crew. Chris’s penchant for the scuzzier sounds - check the nasty bassline on ‘Franklin’ - is reminiscent of the hyperactive beat-takes of Star Eyes.
