Recorded at live at the Jazz Cafe in Camden, London on March 12th 2019, this limited run cassette features Austrian maestro Fennesz at his spontaneous best across two 30-minute performances. With the indisputable skill he’s been flexing for the best part of 20 years, his concoctions begin as wispy vapour, dispersing then pulsating into solid, metallic structures of finely chiseled sound. That you don’t have a visual on Fennesz’s craft here is a blessing in disguise; his magic remains mystifying.
