On this new eponymous LP the Danish group continue to present a polished, evocative reimagining of various 80’s synth-pop styles. Artists like Pet Shop Boys, The Cure, Echo & The Bunnymen and New Order are immediately brought to mind by Lust For Youth’s combination of slick dance grooves and widescreen textures. The noise that swirls around tracks like ‘Inconsistent’ is a remnant of the band’s time on Posh Isolation.
