New label Soft Machine make quite a splash with their first release Eye Of The Minotaur - Collage 001. This collection fuses post-punk electronics and techno in a manner that will appeal to fans of L.I.E.S.. Tracks like Ciarra Black’s ‘DuPont Street’ and Stallone The Reducer’s ‘Eyes Up’ are pure industrial goodness, all shredded sonics and unrelenting drum machines. Circling Vultures and Moze Pray go off on more of a minimal wave-tip towards the end of Collage 001.
