Debut EP from highly promising Londoner Arlo Day (Alice Barlow to her friends). Bad Timing establishes Day as the next in line to the bedroom-indie throne previously occupied by the likes of Mitski and Waxahatchee. These are dusk-lit, brooding songs that see Day and her guitar augmented by shoegazey washes of sound. Day’s voice, woozy yet insistent, is instantly reminiscent of Angel Olsen.
