After the success of last year’s Fast Life EP, Desert Sound Colony is back on Nick Höppner’s Touch From A Distance with a record that really shows his range. The four cuts of Zenome Archetype take in both two-step and four-by-four UK garage, electro, dub techno and the new soundsystem sound of artists like Ploy and Batu. It’s a testament to Desert Sound Colony’s production chops that he’s able to finesse whatever style he touches on Zenome Archetype.
