To date, chameleonic guitarist and bandleader Ezra Furman has plowed a furrow through sad-lad blues rock (Day of the Dog), folk rock anthems (Perpetual Motion People) and Springsteen twang storytelling (Transangelic Exodus). Furman reinvents himself yet again with the honest-to-god punk heart attack of Twelve Nudes, which takes on the musical lessons learnt across his decade-plus career and heightens his craft to that of a bona fide generational voice.
