A new Planet Euphorique drop is always cause for celebration, but on this occasion there’s even more to get excited about - Tack is the eagerly-awaited follow-up to Ambien Baby’s impressive debut EP Transfusion. This new set sees the duo of Sophie Sweetland (an alias of the Planet Euphorique boss D. Tiffany) and Dan Rincon (NAP) provide four psychedelic club numbers. The Ambien Baby sound takes D. Tiffany’s dream-house feel and pushes it a little into leftfield, bringing in influences from electro and fourth-world electronics. ‘El Kesh’ and ‘Sacrfico’ are incantatory drum workouts, ‘Manimoto’ comes across like early 90’s hardcore as approximated by aliens, and ‘Stab Me’ is a Drexciyan delight.
