Bill Converse returns to Dark Entries with a third LP of murky techno voyages. Hallways takes the work of early pioneers like Derrick May and puts it through a freakbeat ringer. The resulting sound is an off-kilter mix of whirring synths and lurching drum programming. As such, Hallways slots in neatly alongside recent releases from artists such as Eric Copeland and Metrist - albeit with a touch more of Posthuman’s acid revivalism thrown in for good measure.
