Long before the Spanish national men’s football team took the term ‘tiki-taka’ worldwide, Munich group Tamburá had claimed the term as their own on a 1994 EP. An unusual blend of downtempo techno, tabla drumming and, err, bagpipes (check the ‘Highland Mix’), this record still sounds like a delightfully unusual bit of globalised post-acid. Now the three original tracks of the Tikitaka EP are reissued alongside new remixes from Tornado Wallace and Dazion.
