Copenhagen’s YWF debuts on Echochord with the Replaced EP. This is yet another set of impeccably-crafted dub techno and tech-house that’s been served up by Kenneth Christiansen’s label. The two YWF originals here interpret their brief slightly differently - while Replaced kicks off with its eponymous track (a moody roller ala Nicolas Jaar) ‘All Is Temporary’ is more abstract and cinematic. YWF’s pals from Freund Der Familie take control in the second half to deliver two divergent remixes of ‘Cutoff’.
