While this latest WeMe Records drop may be a split release, UNCOU and Skyfarma are actually both aliases of one Artsiom Khudziakou. Operating out of Belarus, the producer has turned in two sets of tunes here that both draw heavily from Midwestern techno and electro. When heard side by side it becomes clear that UNCOU’s ‘Spatial Escape’ and Skyfarma’s ‘Magical Invocations’ share the same musical DNA, though Skyfarma’s Drexciyan dystopia is a mite more bugged-out than the UNCOU offerings.
