Dystopian house jacks from Dawl and The He-Men on the second Tone Dropout volume. The He-Men’s entries are both bits of Chicago-fied club fare whose wiggly basslines and frosty synths force their way to the front of the dancefloor. ‘Flamingo’ and ‘Chingo’ are things you could imagine Todd Terry having plenty of fun with. Dawl comes a bit harder on the B-side - both ‘Breakout’ and ‘Party’s In The Basement’ add a little breakbeat science into the mix.
