Alex Jann is back with another EP of seasick electro and acid techno. Computoid.Transmission.X’s title-track starts things as Jann means for them to go on. This one’s all DMX Krew groove, atonal synth modulations and creepy alien vocals. ‘Firewall Culture’ and ‘Jupiter Storms’ use the same template while playing around with the details - the former has an acid bassline poking out of the mix, the latter comes doused in dreamy synth pads. Animistic Beliefs keeps it weird on their slamming electro-funk remix of ‘Computoid.Transmission.X’.
