London duo Plaid marked their Warp debut in 1997 with the Undoneson EP, demonstrating their trademark complex, melodic experimental sound. Here, the duo open up on ‘Undonseon’ with playful, plinking keys before an assured, live drum break pads the piece out whereas ‘Spudink’ unites fairy tail melodies to a snapping electro jam. Sticking to the same aesthetics, ‘Headspin’ again throws down a bold live drum break with the added, twinkling accompaniments.
