Dusk to Dawn Part II, the second part of Rudolf Nordström’s “triple LP debut” as Mr. Tophat, begins with the sound of a whirling siren-like drone, as though to signal certain destruction. There’s no cause for alarm; the ensuing 55-minutes of crepuscular house beats, often sliding into deep disco vibes and a rare goofy pop sensibility. In the sweet, orange dusk light, you’re not sure whether you should head for the chill out tent or brace yourself for an all nighter.
