Arovane and Porya Hatami do things slightly differently on their third collaborative LP. The first thing you notice about C.H.R.O.N.O.S. in comparison to, say, 2017’s Organism is that the tracks here are generally longer than they were before. This means that the concrete curios that frequently popped up on their previous records are eschewed for more pieces that combine those techniques with various kinds of drones. The work of Carl Stone lingers at the back of C.H.R.O.N.O.S..
