Glaswegian technonaut Galaxian is back to cast off our chains. On new EP Golden Armageddon the one born Mark Kastner has synthesised various strains of acid techno, each of which is intended to lift the scales from our eyes. ‘Ride The Spiral’ makes a fearsome racket - the combination of Pump Panel drum programming and industrial distortion sounds like a Unit Mobius record warped by heat. ‘Psychic Purification’ and ‘Golden Armageddon’ each have more of a Detroit electro vibe, though they also come with generous doses of circuit-bent noise.
