FFT on TTT is more than just a pleasing arrangement of letters. Both ‘Regional’ and ‘Loss’ are prime bits of leftfield techno, tracks which recycle classic Detroit sounds into something fresh. ‘Regional’ is fidgety and flexible, warping the dystopian tones of Drexciya/Dopplereffekt into the kind of lithe mid-set primer one could expect to find on Timedance. Meanwhile ‘Loss’ is more abstract, a sombre number that sometimes shoots into life and sounds like a blend of Shackleton, Szare and Pearson Sound.
