Detroit DJ-producer Ryan Elliott returns with Paul’s Horizon on Ostgut Ton. The six year interim period following his last EP Stepmode has seen Elliott picking up illustrious gigs as a Berghain resident, as well as having mixes on Panorama Bar and fabric. As such, Paul’s Horizon slaps with sophisticated house and techno, shooting through slick percussion with a magisterial sense for melody. You may ask yourself, “who’s Paul?” Does it matter?
