Oren Ambarchi/Joe Talia collaborator James Rushford returns with new electroacoustic composition The Body’s Night. This is Rushford’s first solo LP in a decade, and the first ever in which he has taken on the roles of composer, performer and producer all at once. It’s no surprise, then, to find that The Body’s Night is the work of a singular mind. Astral drones, little burrs of rhythm, piercing high tones and all manner of otherworldly sounds are brought together by Rushford here. Think crys cole and William Basinski.
