De:tuned show us a different side on the 4th of their 10th birthday 12” releases. Whereas many of the other entries in the DE:10 series have focussed on house, techno and electro, DE:10.04 fronts two gorgeous breakbeat tracks from Blu Mar Ten and PFM. Both ‘Sandstorm’ and ‘Runaway’ date from the mid-90’s - in fact ‘Runaway’ was given its first airing by LTJ Bukem way back in 1993. As such, the tunes act as both reminders of a different era of raving and an example to a new school of junglists.
