Alec ‘Second’ Storey drops his latest set of future-forward IDM-techno via Frustrated Funk. On The Cusp EP we find Storey’s usual balls in play - brain-bending drum programming, sudden blurts of bass, a general sense of dystopian unease - as he takes on the grind of living in the UK circa 2019. ‘London Isn’t Easy’ and ‘The Cusp’ have that Lee Gamble/Special Request vibe that has brought us so much joy when it comes through in the Second Storey sound.
