A dial tone from an unmarked number, warped and dilated like a sound from another realm: that’s the alien, bleeping techno sound of ES-Q’s title track from Enter The System EP. The track’s remix is the sound of that presence skulking about your house at night. Having shown his devious skills with the club hit ‘Friend Zone’, the jagged edges of this EP is nothing if not a funky kind of threat.
