Rocket Recordings are best known for releasing hard psychedelia from groups like Goat and Gnod, but with Centrum’s För Meditation they go off on a slightly different tangent. While there is still a heavy trippiness to this LP, these tracks are not intended to inspire frenzied freakouts. Rather, as the title suggests, För Meditation should be the soundtrack to a journey into your (sub-)conscious. Popol Vuh’s mind-expanding dirges are invoked by Centrum.
