Dutch duo The Connection Machine get a souped-up version of their debut (mini-)LP reissued through U-Trax. The tunes that make up The Dream-Tec Album all date from 1991-1992, a time when the pair were just starting to lock down their ‘dream techno’ sound. There is certainly a lovely fog that hangs over these beats even when they’re at their most propulsive - think a cross between The Orb and Pump Panel. This new edition of The Dream Tec Album features remastered audio and a trio of previously-unreleased bonus cuts (one of which, it should be noted, is only available digitally).
