IVVVO returns to Rabit’s Halcyon Veil imprint for the first time since 2017, and new full-length doG is arguably his most ambitious work to date. A sprawling double-LP that runs to fifteen tracks, this record also stands as the fullest realisation of the aesthetic that Portuguese producer has been crafting throughout the 2010’s. The entries here gut club sonics and smash them together with sounds from trance, metal (check the Jonathan Davis sample on opener ‘This Is Dog’), industrial music and much more. As a result doG comes across like a cross-breeding of Lorenzo Senni, Arca, Mica Levi and Coil.
