Pinkman offshoot Pinkman Broken Dreams (Alessandro Adriani, Black Seed) continues its run with a release from Black Merlin. We’re promised that Sformator 1 will be the first in a trio of EPs that Black Merlin will issue through PBD, and if they’re all going to sound like this then count us in for parts 2 and 3. These are ferocious techno jams that incorporate influences from noise, industrial music and EBM. ‘Psych 73’ and ‘Strip’ can go toe-to-toe with the best of Phase Fatale and Schwefelgelb.
